Why?! Why I Ask!!

Why is it that when I decide to slow down, to take a few days off, (as if a mother can really even do that), the dirty clothes go and multiply?  I have been slapped in the face with a dirty clothes pile that possibly rivals Everest!  I know how I'll be ringing in the New Year!
