I'll be in the kitchen the rest of the day making two different apple pies- one traditional double lattice crust, and one with a streusel topping. Then I'll be making creamed spinach. It's really easy and super yummy. The worst part is washing the spinach. I guess spinach is grown is sandy/moist soil, because the spinach here tastes wonderful but it is so muddy!! This Thanksgiving be thankful for those bags of washed baby spinach! HA!
Anyhow, I love an afternoon cooking blast! I've got my laptop set up and White Christmas playing on Netflix! I'm breaking the no Christmas until after Thanksgiving rule!
