I guess my neighbors weren't the only people questioning if this brand of chicken was up to their standards. They had decided the brand (among many other things) should be boycotted.
Today I noticed that they had special stickers on all of their packages indicating that it was, in fact, helal. Perhaps it should have been written in the local language?
(Hilarious side note: my autocorrect tried to correct helal to hell. Ha! If you only knew, Mr. Autocorrect!)
