Noah is a little hard to spot. Just look for the light hair. That's him!! He was too into his music to make eye contact with his adoring fans!

We told Noah that when his performance was over he had to mail Gamma her shoes back!! We were teasing him about the Keds-like shoes that he had to wear for the performance! His instrument is called a melodica. It is like a recorder with note keys.
Some of the older classes did beautiful folk dances. We loved the costumes and traditional music!

We took a few short videos. It takes forever to upload them, so hopefully I'll be able to post them soon!
Also, please pray that our camera fixes itself or something. By the end on the day it wouldn't work. We have tried everything, and are so bummed that we can't get it working. It feels like such an important tool that we use to share our story. I love taking pictures of our family and our life here.

hope the camera is fixable
Everyone is Muslim. It is illegal for government employees to wear head coverings at work. Thus, why some are not wearing them. In our neighborhood most women wear them, but some do not. It depends on what the family has decided. This country is not as strict about these. A interesting fact is that 50 years ago, nobody wore them. Now more than half.
